Located in the beautiful Arkansas Ozarks, White Rock Mountain is the second highest elevation in Arkansas. It also serves as the hub for several trails in the area, which is symbolic of a CRM system, that serves as the hub for an organization’s customer information.
More importantly for us, it’s the place where our founder, Mike McGibbony, grew up hiking and camping. It was during one of those expeditions on White Rock Mountain that he had a life-changing moment – a literal “mountain top experience.” It’s also where he really began to grasp the concept that life, as well as business, is a journey.
2010 was a big year for online technology. With the introduction of Facebook, social media just started to become a daily part of many people’s lives. Android smart phones just came on the scene to compete with Apple. It was also the year that Apple introduced the iPad.
It quickly became obvious that digital was going to be essential in modern marketing and sales approaches. This was exciting for technology engineers like us because it meant quantifying new data that had not traditionally been considered in strategic sales and marketing planning.
Another big change was the growth in Cloud technology, which allowed companies to securely store and access data from anywhere and on multiple platforms. With these changes came a new term – customer relationship management, or CRM – and Salesforce, which had officially been around for a decade, became the CRM leader.
As wonderful as this new online, cloud-based, customer relations management world was, it was rapidly evolving, and still is. Companies needed their own unique CRM solutions, and they didn’t have the time nor the skills to set up a CRM system on the own, never mind evolving their platform as their companies and technology grew.
That’s where WhiteRock found its niche. We began helping organizations wanting to use the top CRM platforms, first Salesforce then later Hubspot, by maximizing the software’s benefits through CRM customization each organization’s specific needs.
Today’s organizations recognize that Salesforce can be applied to any company in any industry, but we started with Salesforce when it was primarily a platform for sales teams. We began by creating solutions to sales team-related problems. We enabled strong sales leaders to become even stronger. We grew middle-of-the-pack reps to become higher producers. We also devoted our expertise in Salesforce to solving our clients’ problems. Though our business skills, experience, and knowledge of Salesforce tools, we were able to help organizations meet and often exceed their sales goals.
In 2015, we recognized that some organizations needed their problems solved differently from how we did it with Salesforce. We researched and recognized that Hubspot CRM and Hubspot Marketing Automation were great solutions for organizations who had not yet used a CRM system, but were wanting to give it a try. Hubspot offers a free entry into organizations, so companies can test it out first without paying a licensing fee.
Nowadays, because we are experts in Salesforce and Hubspot, WhiteRock is able to design and implement unique solutions for all kinds of organizations large and small. Our unique approach to serving customers by applying our highly-integrated sales and marketing solutions continues to separate us from our competitors.
